Welcome

We confess. Our roots are from the Buckeye state. That's OHIO.
We grew up there as children but made our way to the Lone Star state as adventurous graduates decades ago.  Our story is simple, so read on if you're interested in knowing a little about us.

One State. Two Cities. Three Sisters
 in Real Estate

We say three sisters, but actually there are four of us!  We grew up in Wyoming, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would end up together in TEXAS!  But as 1980's college graduates, Texas was the place to be, thanks to the TV hit series "Dallas," so we packed up our bags and headed to the land of cowboys and millionaires.  We've learned that Texas is not exactly as it's portrayed; maybe even better, with a little of everything, including lakes and hills, and we love it!

Here's Where The Two Cities Come In...

Dodie and Dennie (and youngest sister Emily), live in Dallas and Sarah lives in Austin.  We're tied to both cities by family, college and business.  As realtors, we discovered that people like Dallas and Austin for different reasons and either visit or relocate to both cities frequently. So voila! We learned that we could share resources, referrals and general real estate information to benefit our clients.

It's All AboutThe Family

When you grow up as we did, in a third generation German sausage making family, there are valuable lessons learned from owning a family business.
As teenagers, our Dad woke us up at 5:30 on Saturdays to open up the store and wait on early bird customers. We assisted in everything from making sausages to cleaning out meat lockers; a truly humbling experience. The perk to the job was working with our dad, whom everyone loved. His quiet nature taught us that treating people with respect, working hard and making a superior product was the key to success. His reputation and commitment to his customers brought generations of families through the doors of that store every week. We observed and learned that relationships were more important than transactions.

Appreciate The Lessons...

We cannot neglect the lessons we learned from Mom.  Always the professional tour guide for international visitors, we often complained about Sunday rides with Mom and Dad.  Many outings may have been a "yawner" as Mom pointed out historic markers and the differences between Italianate and Tudor architecture.  But she instilled in us an appreciation for architectural details, and today, guess what; we pay close attention to every detail in the houses we preview.  Our parents had a deep appreciation for international visitors and we grew up realizing, again, that relationships make the world go around.

Back To You And Real Estate!

Okay, so how did we end up selling real estate? Good question!
Knowing that life is a journey with circumstances and timing directing your path, the profession actually found us.  Little did we know that our life experiences and education had prepared us for a profession that we totally enjoy!  Every aspect of real estate is important to us from the knowledge to the networking to negotiating the sale.  We take your investment in time and money very seriously. Our goal is to make your real estate experience enjoyable by providing outstanding personal service, current knowledge of the market, and closing the transaction with confidence and skill.

Dennie Pitzer and Dodie Bakke Foxworth

We are the oldest of four daughters from Wyoming, Ohio. We graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, in 1981,with degrees in graphic design and advertising. Upon graduation, we headed to Dallas to stay with a friend and never left. We both landed different jobs in graphic design, then were fortunate to work together for Levinson and Levinson Advertising in Las Colinas. We married native Texans (they wore spurs in our wedding-in OHIO) and each raised a daughter and a son... next door to each other. As twins, we work better as a team, athough our personalities are quite different (ask our friends.) We consider those differences our greatest asset.  When its time to be decisive, we discuss issues from different angles, bounce ideas off each other and debate until we reach a common conclusion. You truly get two for the price of one. I know that's corny, but when you're the benefactor, how can you not feel the love.

ABR, CRS, CIPS, TRC

As the only non-blond sister in the family I've paved my own way from the get go.  Dennie and Dodie went to Indiana, and to their dismay I went to the University of Kentucky, IU's basketball arch rival. I graduated with a degree in journalism and had the exciting experience of working with Dallas Magazine, Walt Disney Company and eight years in the fast-paced advertising and marketing industry.  Even though technology has drastically changed over the years, basic fundamentals will always hold true for marketing homes.

So what's with all the initials after our names?  We've pursued special designations. It's about knowledge (which is power) and keeping up-to-date with industry information. Ultimately, we want you to be informed so you make the best real estate decision.
